Just a kid with a crazy dream
Exhibiting a proclivity at a young age for drawing, painting and Etch-a-Sketch, Limbo founder Gary Nolton was fortunate to have parents who supported his artistic inclinations. But it was when he first got a camera at 12 years old that he truly found his medium and calling as a photographer and filmmaker.
After studying film at prestegious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Gary immediately began shooting for advertising agencies and corporations all over the country. After being represented by a couple big L.A. Production Companies, he opened Limbo Films in 1991 and has been going strong ever since.
Drawing from a small pool of trusted Producers who work on a project basis, Limbo has built a very strong reputation for delivering quality work, real world expertise, and outstanding creative solutions. All the while maintaining a respectful, collaborative and drama-free attitude.
Dozens of repeat clients, national awards, and over 30 successful years in business are a testament to our credo: Big City Productions with Small Town Egos.
