This month Limbo paired up with Nikon on an extreme outdoor climbing adventure. The spot for the new Nikon EDG binoculars follows two rugged hunters as they track their prey across mountain terrain. Production took place on Mt. Hood, where Gary and the crew rode snow cats from their cozy abode in the Silcox Hut to locations all over the Palmer Glacier at over 8,000 feet elevation. Two days on the snow in May and a sleepover with 15 of your crew-friends in a remote mountain lodge? Sounds like heaven to us. Shot and directed by Gary Nolton / Produced by Judy Kettler. Mt. Hood, OR. Client: Nikon / Agency: Chavelier Advertising.

What kills more people than car crashes? The answer lies in this new spot from Ray Giarratana. While the photography is picturesque and the visual effects are perfectly executed, we can assure you that the truth revealed is most definitely not heavenly. Directed by Ray Giarratana / Produced by Judy Kettler / VFX by Digital Dimension. Miami, FL / Montreal, Quebec. Client: Florida Dept. of Health / Agency: Zimmerman.

In the final spot for Limbo's Florida Department of Health anti-smoking campaign, Ray flexed his VFX muscles for a CGI recreation of a shoot 'em up video game. The first person perspective has the viewer efficiently blasting robots and grenading space craft en route to completing the level. A celebratory smoke proves more fatal than the battle, forcing the question: are there any limits to Mr. Giarratana's talents? We think not. Directed by Ray Giarratana / Produced by Judy Kettler / VFX by Digital Dimension. Montreal, Quebec. Client: FDOH / Agency: Zimmerman.
