Todd Korgan, groomed from an early age to take over the family restaurant (where he worked as a chef for almost a decade) put away his knives and sauté pans and enrolled in film school to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a filmmaker.
His commercials have been recognized with Addy and Telly awards and by the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. His irreverent style has garnered him a reputation for creating humorous, memorable, attention-getting spots for clients such as Charter Communications, Time Warner, AOL, the PGA, Nike, ESPN, and Comedy Central. He recently helmed the moc-documentary style ad campaign for his hometown NBA team, the Portland Trailblazers. His is adept with agency creatives and clients, often contributing to the script with fresh inventions.
Todd has also earned numerous awards as an independent filmmaker. His short films have been honored in over two hundred festivals worldwide, including those at Sundance, Hollywood and Berlin. His latest short film, THE MAN IN THE EMPTY ROOM, won the audience award at Singapore Shorts Film Festival, best narrative film at Providence RI Convergence Film Festival, and a special jury prize at the Northwest Film Festival. HAVE YOU SEEN PATSY WAYNE? went on to Sundance and JOHNNY BAGPIPES received a Juror’s Award as well as audience awards internationally.
Todd is a Native of Portland Oregon and still makes a mean Chicken Cordon Bleu.
